On Thursday 21st April 2016 James Troop & Co Ltd, Runcorn supported by Volvo Penta hosted their 2016 Dealer Day at the Liverpool Maritime Museum located in the historic Albert Dock, the perfect venue demonstrating the maritime history of Liverpool.
After being greeted upon arrival there was time for Dealers, Volvo Penta and James Troop staff to network over a coffee and take in the amazing views across the Albert Dock.
The focus of the day was to review 2015/16 performances and highlight opportunities and challenges for 2016 onwards. Presentations were geared to Business growth, Opportunities, Strengthen communication, raise and resolve concerns and discuss critical action points.
The day commenced with presentations from Troops Business Development Manager, Stephen Griffiths giving an overview of the performance to date, followed by Technical Manager Alan Railton reviewing Service and Warranty Processing. Carl Kenwright, Parts Team Leader – presented Parts systems overview and Anthony Ward New Engine opportunities.
Volvo Penta performance and Marketing presented by Ruben Ramos Rodriguez, Dealer Business Manager and Michelle Bartlett, Dealer Business Area Manager, Training opportunities presented by Training Specialist Tony Wilson, all providing required information on current promotions, new products and Drop Box Tools to assist in achieving our goals.
“Challenges” the theme for the day and 100% attendance ensured – break out group sessions were very interactive! focusing on all areas of the businesses to make 2016 0nwards successful for all. Points documented to be actioned and discussed during Dealer visits. This was followed by “Question time” ran by Troops New Business Development team member Sean Dignam.
Day concluded with a presentation by the Director of the Northern Boat Show followed by the James Troop Dealer rewards ceremony, specifically to acknowledge all the Dealers hard work over the past 12 months.
